According to several media reports, the three lead actors are all set to star together in a superhero drama. One can only imagine the level of excitement amongst their fans amid these reports.
On September 5, South Korean media outlets reported that Seo In-guk’s agency said that he had received an offer to play a lead role in the drama Twelve, and the actor had been reviewing it. Apart from Seo In-guk, Ma Seok and Ji Wook will lead the drama as two other superheroes. Last year, Ma Dong-seok was approached to play a role in this superhero drama. Back then, the actor’s agency had reportedly said that he was positively reviewing the script. Meanwhile, Ji Chang-Wook was approached for the role in April this year, and he is also reviewing it.
Twelve will also mark the reunion of Squad 38’s actors, Ma Dong-seok and Seo In-guk, after eight years. It is also reported that the Train To Busan actor is likely to be participating in the production of the drama. Twelve is slated to be released in 2025. However, the makers are yet to finalise the platform for airing it. The K-drama fans are already excited for the drama due to its star-studded cast and unique plot.
Seo In-guk is a multi-hyphenated personality. Apart from being a phenomenal actor, the 36-year-old has a strong foothold in the music industry as well. He has starred in popular K-dramas such as Doom At Your Service, Reply 1997, Cafe Minamdang, and most recently, Death’s Game.
On the other hand, Ma Dong-seok, who was last seen in The Roundup: Punishment, is reportedly going to star in Prabhas’ new film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Meanwhile, Ji Chang-wook was last seen in Welcome To Samdal-ri.
