Sara Ali Khan expressed her excitement and support for Ananya Panday after watching the trailer of her upcoming series, Call Me Bae.

Ananya Panday has been grabbing headlines for her upcoming digital series, Call Me Bae. The highly anticipated trailer, released on August 20, has already garnered a flurry of reactions from fans and celebrities. Among those showing their support is Sara Ali Khan, who took to Instagram to express her excitement and support for Ananya. She shared the trailer of the series and wrote, “I cannot wait for everyone to have a binge-worthy blast all thanks to you! Too much fun. @ananyapanday genuinely love you in this."

Ananya’s close friend and actress Suhana Khan also showered some love on Instagram. Suhana wrote, “Already in love with Bae. I’m so exciteddddd."

Call Me Bae trailer opens with Ananya recounting her privileged upbringing and lavish lifestyle in New Delhi, only to face a dramatic turn when she hits rock bottom. She discovers that all her bank cards have been declined, signalling her sudden downgrade to middle-class status. The scene shifts to her struggle in Mumbai, where she grapples with job searches and daily life. From taking an auto rickshaw ride to applying for a social media journalist position and cleaning her apartment, Ananya finds it challenging to adjust to city life.

The 8-part series is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra and directed by Collin D’Cunha. It is written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair. Starring Ananya Panday in the lead role, the show also features Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 6.

Speaking of Sara Ali Khan, the actress is gearing up for directors Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani’s upcoming action thriller film Sky Force. The film is based on true events and celebrates a major victory of the Indian Air Force. It also stars Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, Leena Sharma and Veer Pahariya in key roles. It will be released in cinemas on October 2.

Additionally, Sara will be seen in Anurag Basu’s upcoming film Metro…In Dino alongside Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi and more.
