Salman Khan leaves for Jodhpur to record his statement in the black buck poaching case

Actor Salman Khan has been summoned to a Jodhpur court to record his statement in relation to black buck case that took place in 1998. This is after the court had dismissed an application from Salman’s counsel last to re-examine the then collector Rajat Mishra. Salman left from Mumbai in the early hours of Thursday to reach Jodhpur on time.

Salman is alleged to have used an illegal weapon to shoot down black bucks at Kankani village. Sources say if found guilty, Salman Khan could face 3 to 5 years of imprisonment.

More details on the hearing awaited.
