Salman Khan Asked 150 Questions By Police In Firing Case, Salim Khan Not Quizzed Due To 'Old Age'
In April this year, gunshots were fired outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

Hours after it was reported that Mumbai Police interrogated Salman Khan in the firing case, it has now been revealed that the actor was asked around 150 questions. Police sources have revealed that a four-member team from the crime branch visited Khan’s residence at noon on June 4, 2024. Reportedly, they recorded Salman’s statement for four hours.

During the interrogation, Salman reportedly praised Mumbai Police and shared that there was a party at his residence the night before gunshots were fired. He also shared that he woke up to the sound of the gunfire.

Besides Salman, his brother Arbaaz Khan was also questioned by the police officials. Reportedly, his 4-page long statement was recorded in two hours. Arbaaz was also asked around 150 questions during which he revealed that he was not at the residence when the firing incident took place. He was at their Juhu residence.

Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan was also at the residence when the crime branch team visited to record statements. However, he was not quizzed by the officials considering his “old age”.

Police sources also claim that the crime branch will soon initiate the process of taking Lawrence Bishnoi into their custody.

In April this year, gunshots were fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Later, it was reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is alleged to be behind the attack as the gangster’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the shooting incident via a Facebook post. A total of six persons have been arrested in the case by Mumbai police as of now.

Last month, the President of the All India Bishnoi Society, Devendra Budiya, also issued a statement and argued that the Bollywood superstar’s apology would be considered if he seeks forgiveness. “If Salman himself apologizes, the Bishnoi society will consider the apology. The mistake was not made by Somy Ali, but it was committed by Salman,” the Bishnoi gang leader told IANS, as quoted by Pinkvilla.

“Therefore, he should propose to the Bishnoi society that he wants to apologize. He should come to the temple and seek forgiveness. He should further take an oath that he will never make such a mistake in the future and will always work to protect wildlife and conserve the environment. If he does this, a decision of the society to forgive him will be considered,” he added.

After the shocking incident, Salman Khan’s security was upgraded.
