There are several movies that, despite being old, are still remembered by the viewers. One such film is the 2009 Tamil-language children’s movie Pasanga. Do you remember actress Dharani from the film, who played the role of Manonmani? Recently, a picture of this actress went viral on social media.

In the recent photo, Dharani is seen in a white kurti. She chose no makeup except a lip gloss and left her hair open to complete her look. In the viral photograph, she is seen along with two other women of her age, who seem to be her friends. In the picture, three of them are seen smiling as they pose for the camera.

Pasanga stars debutant child actors Kishore DS, Sree Raam, and Pandian in the lead roles, along with newcomers Vimal and Vega Tamotia in supporting roles. The film was produced by Sasikumar, and the music score was composed by James Vasanthan. They rose to fame after their 2008 hit film, Subramaniyapuram.

Pasanga hit theatres on May 1, 2009, to critical acclaim, winning three National Film Awards and several other awards at international film festivals.

The satellite rights to the film were sold to Kalaignar TV. Later, the movie was also remade in Sri Lanka in Sinhala as Daruwane in 2012.

The film stars Karthi and Lakshmi Menon as the main leads, along with Rajkiran, Super Subbarayan, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunas, and Kovai Sarala playing supporting roles.

The film was released on April 2, 2015 and received positive reviews from both viewers and critics.
