Pushpa 2 Makers Plan BIG Surprise, To Release FIRST Song From Allu Arjun's Film On THIS Date

Earlier this month, the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule also released the teaser of the film on Allu Arjun's birthday.

After impressing everyone with the teaser of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2, makers are now planning to raise the excitement level among all for their film. If a report by Telugu 360 is to be believed, makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule are planning to release the first song of the movie in the first week of May. Reportedly, the song is composed by Chandra Bose and is sung by Devi Sri Prasad.

While not much details about the song are known as of now, the entertainment portal claims that it will explore Allu Arjun’s character Pushpa Raj in the movie.

Earlier this month, the makers of Pushpa 2 also released the teaser of the film on Allu Arjun’s birthday. In the teaser, Allu Arjun was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported makeup with heavy traditional gold and flower jewellery. He was seen beating up goons.

Directed by Sukumar, the last leg of shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway. Besides Allu Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Previously, Rashmika talked about the much-awaited film when she promised that it would be “bigger” than ever. “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film, in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that,” she told Pinkvilla.

Pushpa 2: The Rule might also feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a cameo. Sanjay Dutt is also likely to make a special appearance in the movie.

Recently, Pinkvilla reported that the theatrical rights for Pushpa 2 have been acquired by Anil Thadani on an advance basis for Rs 200 crore. Prior to this, another report by Siasat claimed the makers are reportedly demanding a staggering Rs 1,000 crores or more for the theatrical rights deal for all languages. The report further suggested the film is expected to outperform SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which grossed a whopping Rs 900 crores in theatrical rights. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.

Pushpa 2: The Rule will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.
