purchased the rights across all languages for an impressive Rs 45 Crore, making it the largest deal Nani has ever secured.

Natural star Nani has always been known to be a bankable star in the Telugu industry but he faced a minor setback when his film with director Vivek Athreya, Ante Sundariniki failed to make money. Both of them collaborated again on the recently released Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and it started minting money at the box office. His previous film with director Vivek Athreya, Ante Sundaraniki had received good reviews but underperformed at the box office. With Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, Nani has redeemed himself. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram marks Nani’s third film in the 100-crore club after Dasara and Eega.

Netflix India has secured the digital streaming rights for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram for a substantial sum of Rs 45 Crore. This follows their successful acquisition of Nani’s previous film, Dasara. The leading OTT platform quickly moved to invest in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, with the agreement set for a release on their platform five weeks after the film’s theatrical debut. This marks the first time Nani has struck such a significant deal with Netflix India for digital streaming rights. According to the available details, Netflix purchased the rights across all languages for an impressive Rs 45 Crore, making it the largest deal Nani has ever secured. The film is expected to start streaming, starting September 26.

While celebrating the success of Saripodha Sanivaaram, Nani cracked a joke regarding his previous unsuccessful film with the director, hinting that they finally feel avenged. The producers of the film, DVV Entertainment, have released a poster featuring Nani and Suryah from the movie, announcing that it has surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark in global box office gross.

Nani reposted the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), adding heart and laughter emojis. He also shared a meme referencing a scene from Farhan Akhtar’s 2011 film Don 2, where Hrithik Roshan unmasked himself to reveal he was Shah Rukh Khan. Nani humorously likened it to his character Surya from Saripodhaa Sanivaaram unmasking to reveal Sundar from Ante Sundaraniki.
