Richa Chadha and her actor-husband Ali Fazal are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child, expected any day now in July 2024. As they prepare for this exciting new chapter, the couple has meticulously planned every phase of their journey to ensure a seamless balance between their personal and professional lives. Recently, the actress shared bundle of photos, and expressed how the wait for her baby, can sometimes feel lonely.
In the first image, she’s adorned in a vibrant orange top and a flowing blue-and-white skirt, her arms and head reclining on a table adorned with candles, a marble decorative piece, and a single flower. In the second picture, her kohl-lined eyes gaze directly into the camera, exuding confidence as she sits gracefully on a wooden chair, wearing a serene blue top, a white shrug, and a delicate blue flower tucked behind her ear.
She also added a little note in the caption that read, “The discomfort is lonely, but it’s because am not alone. (Flower emoji) I have constant reminders in the form of a tiny wave of a movement, a knee, a sudden kick, a feeling of someone listening in… Waiting for a bud to blossom. Aaja yaar (come on, lad).”
In other news, Richa Chadha has already signed her next, and the work on the untitled film is set to begin soon. The script of the film which is a comedy genre is already ready and has been written by Amitosh Nagpal, and is set in North India.
Commenting on her work and maternity break, she shared, “While I can’t speak for all women, because it depends on each individual what their journey is like, I am determined to get back to work as soon as possible, and not take a long break, as i have pending commitments.”
She further added, “I take immense inspiration from my own mother, who managed both roles with grace and efficiency. I believe I can handle both duties effectively as well, becasue it depends on the kind of support system you have around you and how hands-on your partner is. In my case, I feel blessed to have both those things figured out. I also don’t think it is out of the ordinary. I have seen the badass women of Mumbai take local trains well into their 9th month, heading to work, looking oerfectly groomed iwth their gajras intact. I am very inspired by the average Indian woman and don’t want this to be treated as a medical condition, it is not. It is a natural part of life”.
The source close to the production of the film, said, “Richa has loved the script and it’s a really fun concept. The pre production work is set to take place in August and will go on floors in October. The film is meant to be shot at the brink of winters in the north”.
As Richa prepares for this new chapter in her life, she remains dedicated to her upcoming projects, assuring her fans that her passion for acting and storytelling will not waver.
