The highly anticipated film Thangalaan has been making headlines for a long time. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the historical action drama stars Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. Amidst the buzz, the makers unveiled the first single from the film, Minikki Minikki.

Directed by B. Ranjith, the film will feature Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy and Daniel Caltrogine. The producers of the film are Pa. Ranjith, K. E. Gnanavel Raja, Jyoti Deshpande, and G. Dhananjayan. The screenplay of this film is based on the true events that follow the lives of Kolar gold miners. The film is said to have been made with tribals as its focus. Thangalaan was slated to release in April, but the release has been delayed due to post-production work. The film Thangalaan is now set to release in theatres on August 15 across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam languages.
