Anupamaa fame Madalsa Sharma is in the news these days. The actress, who became a household name by playing the character of Kavya Shah in the popular TV show Anupama, has said goodbye to the show. After leaving the show, she is now making many important revelations through interviews, as well as answering every question of her fans. Recently, she shared that now she wants to work in web series and films.
Madalsa Sharma has also made many claims in a recent interview, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention. In an interview, she confirmed that there is going to be a 15-year leap in Anupamaa. But till now no official announcement has been made by the makers regarding the show.
In an interview with a media portal, Madalsa said, “Right now the show is taking a leap of 15 years; this has been discussed for a long time. 15 years is not a small time, and I think that many people (actors) are going to say goodbye to the show right now.”
Madalsa further said, “I don’t know anything about any show, whether it will be a hit show after the leap or not, so I can’t say anything. But the makers of Anupamaa are amazing. They have run Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for 15 years, while Anupamaa has been on air for only a few years. I am sure they must have thought of something for this as well, but I can say one thing with certainty: people will miss the angle of Vanraj, Kavya, and Anupamaa.”
Meanwhile, there are reports that Aurra Bhatnagar, Nishi Saxena, Alpana Buch, and others might leave the show post this development. It was being said that only Gaurav Khanna and Rupali Ganguly would stay back. But nothing has been confirmed yet.
Anupamaa premiered on July 13, 2020, on StarPlus and streams digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. It is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut Productions. Anupamaa is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. It featured Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, and Gaurav Khanna in the lead roles.
