Earlier, Hindustan Times reported, “The first leg of the shoot wrapped up in Mumbai, and now the duo is filming in the Capital. The team started shooting here three-four days ago, and the schedule will go on for another 10-12 days. While the supporting cast has been joining the shoot as and when needed, Junaid and Khushi are going to be here for the entire schedule.”
The film is reported to be a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today, which starred and was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan.
Junaid Khan made his acting debut with Maharaja. Talking about Siddharth P. Malhotra-directed thriller drama, Maharaja, it is based on the Maharaja Libel Trial Case of 1862. According to a press release issued by Netflix last month, Maharaj follows Karsandas Mulji, a journalist and social reformer, who was a pioneering advocate for women’s rights and social reform. A student at Elphinstone College in Mumbai and a protege of the scholar-leader Dadabhai Naoroji, Mulji wrote on widow remarriage, stood up for the oppressed, and sowed the seeds of reform in society.
Khushi Kapoor made her debut with The Archies. It also marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The Archies is an Indian adaptation of the American comic book series centred in the fictional town of Riverdale. It brings the characters of Archie, Veronica, Betty, Reggie, Dilton, Jughead, and Big Ethel to life in a 1960s hill town.
