Inside Sara Ali Khan’s Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations At Home, Actress Prays For ‘Joy And Peace’
Sara Ali Khan shared pictures of the beautiful idol she brought home and the exquisite orange and golden themed decor around it.

The 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi has started with large-scale celebrations around the country. Bollywood celebrities are also taking part in the festivities with lots of enthusiasm. Among others, Sara Ali Khan welcomed Lord Ganesha to her home and prayed for the well-being of everyone around her. She shared pictures of the beautiful idol and the exquisite orange and golden themed decor around it.

Sara Ali Khan shared a couple of pictures of herself standing in front of the idol with folded hands. Wishing all her followers on the auspicious occasion, she wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi May Bappa bring only joy and peace to all of us.” The actress looked gorgeous in an orange tassel tie kurta with golden zari work and a matching dupatta. Sara opted for bangles that went well with the outfit and a pair of small earrings. The actress wore minimal make-up and left her hair open.

Most of her fans wished her and also complimented on how beautiful she looked. Referring to the vibrant colour of her outfit, one of them stated, “Sara you’re cute as a motichoor laddoo.”

This is not the first time Sara is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in her house. Last year as well, she welcomed Bappa and commemorated the occasion with a lot of devotion. In contrast to this year, Sara went for a combination of many colours in her decor last time. She also looked stunning in a yellow kurta set. Sara accessorised her dress with vibrant bangles and stunning silver earrings.She was seen posing for the camera with folded hands, seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha.

Sara Ali Khan was recently seen in the Homi Adajania directed film Murder Mubarak. The movie featured a stellar cast, including Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia and Karisma Kapoor. Produced by Maddock Films, this was a book-to-screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s Club You To Death. The film was released on Netflix in March.

Sara has also been receiving praise for her role in Ae Watan Mere Watan. Set in the pre-independence era, the film follows Usha, a 22-year-old college student in Bombay who tries to help India gain independence and builds an underground radio station that feeds the Quit India Movement. The actress will soon appear in Anurag Basu’s highly awaited film Metro…In Dino.
