The Marathi actress Mukta Barve, has recently been making headlines for her upcoming film Nach Ga Ghuma, slated to release on May 1. The makers of the film on Wednesday dropped the official trailer on the YouTube channel of Everest Marathi.
The film features a stellar cast including Mukta Barve, Sukanya Kulkarni, and Sarang Sathe among others. The story of Nach Ga Ghuma revolves around a typical middle-class family. The plot takes a turn when the family’s maid quits her job and goes on a vacation. The workload of the maid then becomes the family’s chores and eventually a nightmare for them to accomplish.
Mukta has been known for not only films but also for her commendable work in television and theatre as well. She has been a recipient of over seven Maharashtra State Film Awards. However, being at the top of an industry is not that easy. Mukta has gone through several such challenges that broke her numerous times.
Originally, Mukta hails from Pune, and settling in the city of dreams, Mumbai was never been easy. As there are several levels of differences in the lifestyle of Pune and Mumbai, Barve had to face some of them. At first, she has to struggle majorly to adapt to the crowd. To get through the rush of the city, she mentioned that she used to take local trains, she said in a Rajshri Marathi interview. However, her first time on the train made her concussed and she ended up falling on the platform at Kurla station.
Talking about her struggling days, Mukta said that she initially stayed in a hostel with actress Madhugandha Kulkarni in Mumbai. She mentioned that she eventually managed to make herself strong enough as she wanted to work and mark her path to success. After this, Mukta Barve started to stand on the Dadar station’s bridge to study the crowd. She learned how to tackle the rush and survived for her career to be built, the actress added.
