International Indian Film and Academy (IIFA) awards is back for 2018 with the great and good of the world of showbiz and entertainment. IIFA is undoubtedly one of the biggest and much-anticipated award event of Bollywood. With just a month left before the star-studded bash kicks off, let’s dive into what has been confirmed will happen on Bollywood's biggest night.
Location:
They’ve moved! For the first time in 10 years, the IIFA this year is being hosted in Bangkok, Thailand. The three day event is scheduled for June 22 through June 24 at the Siam Niramit Theatre.
Host:
Filmmaker Karan Johar will return for a second year. Actor Riteish Deshmukh will join the director as co-host. Karan had previously hosted the awards ceremony with Saif Ali Khan in New York.
"I think the IIFA stage is always the most glamorous. It is large and has all the epicness... Also this year we have so many performances...," Karan said about his hosting duties.

It's time for the big one- Who all are performing?
The performers on the night have been confirmed as: Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor.
Talking about it, Ranbir said, "I am very nervous when I dance. When we dance for films there is a camera and there are takes but when you dance for a live audience there is just that one take so you have to give your best. There are no cuts."

The 35-year-old actor said he likes to keep practising the dance steps. "I want to rehearse more because I want to better myself," he added.
Kartik Aaryan, who will host the IIFA Rocks concert along with Ayushmann Khurrana, says he is excited for the event.
