The incident occurred at Govinda’s Mumbai residence on Tuesday when his revolver accidentally fired just as he was preparing to leave for the airport. The actor sustained a bullet wound below his left knee, requiring stitches. Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, who treated the actor, confirmed the extent of the injury, stating Govinda received around 8 to 10 stitches.
Meanwhile, local authorities have been conducting a formal investigation into the accident, with the Mumbai crime branch launching a parallel inquiry. As of now, no formal complaint has been filed regarding the incident, according to police.
