Gigi Hadid and her former partner, singer Zayn Malik’s daughter Khai, turned four on September 19. On Friday, the proud mom took to her Instagram account to share a carousel celebrating her daughter on her special day. The supermodel also offered a glimpse of Khai’s full name, leaving the fans all excited about the surprising revelation.
The first picture of the album featured a glimpse of the mother-daughter duo enjoying a boat ride. Following this were some memorable moments from Khai’s Star Wars-themed birthday party, with the highlight being a Yoda cake with “May The FOURce BE With You” written over it. In two of the pictures in the carousel, Khai was seen riding a horse, of course, under her mother’s guidance. The post also featured a Descendants-themed scroll, revealing Gigi and Zayn’s daughter’s full name, which is Khai Malik.
The model concluded the post by including some random shots of her daughter enjoying nature. Sharing the post, Gigi wrote a heartfelt note, “Our girl is 4 today, and we celebrated all week!!! She loves animals (fantastical ones, too), music, baby Yoda, all things nature & bugs, Descendants, anything squishy or miniature, and if possible- will be in the water from dawn till dusk. She is curious, adventurous, loving, and oh-so witty. Khai- it is my life’s greatest joy and pride to be your mama!!!! Thank you for the four best years of my life- you remind me to live life to the fullest every day in the most simple & beautiful ways. Your possibilities are endless, my sweetest love !!!! Earlier, Gigi also shared a clip on her Instagram Stories, where an all-grown-up Khai can be seen enjoying a swing in a park. Sharing the clip, the supermodel wrote, “4 years of YOU. Happy birthday, Mama’s Angel!” This was followed by a glimpse of Khai’s birthday cake that the mother-daughter duo savoured as her birthday breakfast.
Meanwhile, Khai’s proud father also shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram. The former One Direction singer’s post featured an adorable glimpse of the father-daughter duo enjoying some time on a beach. Sharing the picture, Zayn wrote, “Happy birthday to the most important person in my life, I love you more than words allow me to express, beyond proud to call you my daughter.. grateful for every second I get to spend next to you, as you become the incredible person I know you already are. Four years ago today, my life changed forever, and I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you.”
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik started dating in 2015. They were Hollywood’s longtime on-again/ off-again couple. After welcoming their daughter Khai in 2020, the two decided to call it quits in October 2021.
