Actress Triptii Dimri’s 20 minute role in the film Animal has seemed to have done wonders to her career. She has bagged a handful of projects after Animal, like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Dhadak 2 and Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. It is interesting to note that Triptii had already appeared in lead roles in unanimously acclaimed films like Bulbul and Qala and although she received much praise for her performances, the success did not manifest itself in the form of more work. An extended cameo appearance in Animal made the industry stop and take notice of her. After her newfound success post Animal, Triptii became the next big crush of the nation, which can be gauged from the fact that she has been receiving random marriage proposals on her social media handle. She was recently interviewed by a magazine where she was asked about the most bizarre DMs that she has received. Triptii said, “I’ve been receiving quite a few marriage proposals in my DMs lately, so I think that’s pretty strange!”
It is interesting to note that she had recently said that her relatives had told her parents that she would not get married if she chose a career in films. In an interview, the actress shared, “I’m from Uttarakhand but was born and raised in Delhi, where my parents and family still live. Some people in society, including family members, said hurtful things to my parents, like, ‘Why did you let your daughter enter this profession? She’ll be influenced by the wrong crowd, make bad decisions, and no one will want to marry her.’”
Triptii Dimri is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Recently, she shared a video showcasing her look from the movie, where she was seen wearing a floral-patterned saree. She completed the ensemble with a matching dupatta, bangles, and sunglasses.
