Hrithik Roshan is more than just a star and an actor who has aced both mainstream and intricate roles in films like Agneepath, Super 24, War to name a few. The actor recently impressed all with his performance in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. He revealed in a recent interview how the journey of the film made him sacrifice his social life.
Speaking with the entertainment portal PinkVilla, Hrithik Roshan shared, “When I was doing Fighter, I had to go through 3 transformations and it cut out my entire social life. I didn’t meet my friends for a year. I was sleeping at 9pm everyday. So I was like, ‘Hey. It cannot go on like this. This is not quality life’. This is important to do if you are trying to find a place. I have found a place for myself and now I need to be engaged, and aspire to live good days. That’s what we should always finally end up aspiring.”
He added, “Sunrise to sunset and after that in the night; What are your days like. What are you doing in your day? What are the thoughts in the day. That’s so important. So your work needs to become 50 percent of your life. The other 50 percent needs to be your life”.
Despite getting positive reviews, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer is struggling to rule the box office. The film, which released on January 25, witnessed another drop in its collection on Wednesday, January 31. As reported by Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that Fighter earned Rs 6.35 crore nett in India on its seventh day i.e. on Wednesday.
This means that Fighter’s Wednesday collection is Rs 1.15 crore less than what it earned on Tuesday when it collected Rs 7.5 crore nett. However, with this, the film’s total collection now stands at Rs 140.35 crore.
Fighter has a run time of 2 hours and 46 minutes. The Central Board of Film Certification granted a U/A certification to the film. Besides Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the film stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar in pivotal roles.
