Mumbai: Brainchild of Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Excel Entertainment will be hosting a premier of Zoya Akhtar’s 'Dil Dhadakne Do' in Mumbai for the first time.
They are planning to host a special screening of their next film on June 3, read a statement.
Excel Entertainment is said to have never held a screening of their film before its release. But constant requests from friends and families compelled them to make an exception for 'Dil Dhadakne Do', said a statement.
Along with Farhan, the film has an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma.
'Dil Dhadakne Do' is about a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise across the Mediterranean and how they discover love during their voyage.
The film will hit the silver screen on June 5.
