Dia Mirza And Madhavan Thank Fans For Giving Love To Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein As Film Re-releases

Dia Mirza and Madhavan starrer Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein was re-released in the theatres on August 30. The romantic drama has once again won everyone’s hearts and the audience is completely the old charm. The lead stars have taken to their social handle and thanked all fans for their love. They also held a live Instagram session where they also spoke about other things.

Taking to their Instagram Dia and Madhavan wrote, “We just wanted to say a BIG thank you #RHTDM for all the love you have shown us over the last 23 years and the love you are giving the film in theatres right now.” One of the fans wrote, “The best compliment a man can get from a woman is what Dia said to Maddy, “I always felt safe around you Maddy” Another wrote, “I was in 8th standard n dat time my dream was to marry after seeing dis movie now m a doctor radiologist n yea i did love with arrange marriage hahaha n right now m a mother of two kids with radiologist professionally n planning to go fr a movie in theater with my loving husband without kids hahahhaha alone time n again want to fall in love like befr as v r but still like bfr.”

During an Instagram Live, Dia spoke to Madhavan and recalled, “We were travelling from one place to another for 14-18 hours, constantly going from one place to another. We would often catch up on our sleep on the flight. The film was also shot that way – we had shot in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Mumbai. The film’s release date was announced before we finished the bhaag daud.”

Pooja Entertainment’s Jackky Bhagnani is also quite excited about the re-release of this timeless film. He said, “This film holds a very special place in my heart, as it was my first project as an Assistant Director. I was quite young at the time, and being part of the AD team gave me the incredible opportunity to work closely with Maddy, Saif, and Dia on set. It was truly inspiring to witness such talented performers in action and to be part of what would become a cult classic,” as quoted by Money Control.

Meanwhile, on the work front, R Madhavan was last seen in Shaitaan alongside Ajay Devgn. The film received wonderful reviews from both fans and critics. He will next appear in Shankara and De De Pyaar De 2, alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Dia Mirza was last seen in Dhak Dhak, which starred Ratna Pathak Shah, Sanjana Sanghi, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Saif Ali Khan will next appear in Siddharth Anand’s Jewel Thief, starring Jaideep Ahalawat and Kunal Kapur. The new film will be available on Netflix later this year. Saif is also preparing for the release of Devara, a Telugu film starring JR NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
