On Wednesday, Payne died after reportedly falling from the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The severe injuries he sustained led to his death on the spot, according to police reports. The heartbreaking news sent shockwaves through the music industry, with fans and fellow celebrities offering their condolences in the wake of his untimely demise.
Likewise, Cabello took to her Instagram Stories and remembered Liam for all the joy that he brought to her and her friends. “It really made an impression on me as a young girl to meet a member of a group I loved and have him be so kind. It’s a tragedy to have him gone way too soon,” she added.

On Wednesday, October 17, the former One Direction had a fatal fall from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Argentina. Minutes before his death, the hotel staff reportedly called 911, asking for help for a guest who exhibited “erratic behaviour” under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Later, the police confirmed the deceased to be Liam Payne, proclaiming him dead on the spot. His body was sent for autopsy. The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office issued a press release on Thursday, confirming that the singer died due to “polytrauma” and “internal and external haemorrhage” after falling from a significant height.
Meanwhile, the authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the case, especially due to doubts over his substance use.
