Athiya Shetty shared a cryptic post about storms days after LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka seemingly fought with him in public.

Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty shared a cryptic post days after her husband, cricketer KL Rahul became the eye of an IPL storm. Last week, fans of the tournament were in for a rude shock after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjeev Goenka seemingly yelled at KL Rahul, the captain of the team, followed a bad defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). A video went viral showing Goenka and Rahul in an animated conversation. Many presumed that the LSG owner was giving Rahul a earful.

While fans have criticised Goenka for the behaviour, neither Suniel Shetty nor Athiya Shetty have commented on the turn of events. However, on Monday, Athiya shared a post which spoke about ‘calm after a storm.’ Taking to her Instagram Stories, Athiya shared a picture of the sun shining through a sky full of clouds and wrote, “The calm after the storm.”

Although Rahul is yet to comment on the incident, LSG’s assistant coach Lance Klusner shared his thoughts on the particular moment ahead of their upcoming match against Delhi Capitals. The former South African international had an interesting take on the chat between the two. He was quoted by PTI during the pre-match press conference saying,” I see no problem in a robust discussion between two cricket lovers. For us, it is a storm in a teacup. It’s not a big thing for us”.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has also not been chosen to be a part of the T20 World Cup squad. The team is set to fly to the US and West Indies for the series, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

Athiya married Rahul in 2023, after dating for almost five years. The wedding took place at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala, celebrated in a close-knit ceremony. By posting pictures from their wedding on Instagram, the couple made their marriage public last year. In their shared post, they expressed, “In your light, I learn how to love… Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness.”
