Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise undoubtedly left a void in many hearts, and it continues to impact those who were close to him. Recently, actor Arjun Bijlani opened up about his bond with Sushant on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast.

Arjun, reflecting on their friendship, revealed how Sushant’s untimely death deeply affected him. “I remember when Sushant passed away, I cried so much because we used to live in the same building. We partied together frequently and would visit each other’s houses,” Arjun shared.

Arjun also disclosed that he still keeps a piece of Sushant close to him—literally. He revealed, “We used to exchange our T-shirts. I still have Sushant’s orange baniyan (vest) with me, which we swapped.”

When asked by Bharti if he knew Sushant from his early days, Arjun shared fond memories of their time together. He said, “I remember when he bought his new sports bike. He called me, took me for a ride, and I still have the photo from that day.” Arjun fondly recalled these moments, mentioning how he and his wife Neha Swami often think of Sushant with a smile, and how songs from Sushant’s films bring back memories. Arjun admitted that “Namo Namo” is one of his favourite songs, often playing it to reminisce.

During the same podcast, Arjun also spoke about his friendship with the late actor Sidharth Shukla, another star gone too soon. “Sidharth and I were very good friends when we used to do modeling. We were part of the same group. I’ve known him since he lived in Mumbai Central and I was in Mahim,” Arjun shared. Recalling a recent encounter before Sidharth’s passing, Arjun mentioned, “We ran into each other at a chemist. We ended up talking for half an hour about old times. Just a month later, I got the news of his passing.”

Arjun added that he still talks about Sidharth in the present tense, saying, “Sidharth is very sweet. I always say ‘is’ because he’s still that person to me.”

Currently, Arjun Bijlani is participating in the reality show Laughter Chefs, which also features Bharti Singh as a host, along with other popular personalities like Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Jannat Zubair, Reem Shaikh, and Nia Sharma.
