Kapil Sharma to host Farah Khan and Anil Kapoor on The Great Indian Kapil Show this weekend.

Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Farah Khan are all set to take over The Great Indian Kapil Show this weekend. A promo of the episode was released on Wednesday and it revealed that Anil and Farah are here to have fun. The promo began with Anil declaring that he is ‘high-jacking’ the show, pushing Kapil aside. “Welcome to the Grand Indian Anil Kapoor Show," declared Anil, leaving Kapil speechless.

Meanwhile, Farah confesses she’s eyeing Archana’s ‘judge’s chair’. When Archana refuses to give up her throne, Farah trolls her, “Tumhari seat main zarur nahi leti but khud kisi aur ki seat li hai," hinting at Navjot Singh Sidhu’s position in the show. The promo then featured Farah and Anil sharing anecdotes about each other. They were also seen playing along with the team’s gags. Check out the promo below:

The news of Farah and Anil’s appearance on the show came shortly after Ed Sheeran’s episode was aired. Last Saturday, Kapil released the pre-recorded episode of Ed appearing on the show. During the appearance, Ed not only spoke about his journey but also participated in a singing gag with Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda, and performed for the audience.

Meanwhile, Kapil recently wrapped the shoot of the first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Last month, Archana Puran Singh took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of a cake from the sets of TGIKS. “Season wrap," she wrote, leaving everyone shocked and upset.

Kiku Sharda told News18, “We have done 13 episodes and the second season will come out soon. We have just wrapped up the first season. It was always meant to be like this. We have already planned the next season and it will come out soon. There won’t be a very huge gap."

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Archana also confirmed that The Great Indian Kapil Show is going off-air. “Yes, we have wrapped up the shoot of season one of TGIKS; we shot the last episode of the season yesterday," she said and then added, “It was great fun and celebration on the sets. The journey so far on the show has been quite amazing. It was a delightful journey and we had some amazing times on the sets."
