Sonam Kapoor celebrated her 39th birthday on June 9. She received an outpouring of wishes and blessings from fans and loved ones. Her special day was filled with joy as she enjoyed a wonderful celebration with her family and friends. Thanks to her husband, Anand Ahuja, we got a peek into the celebrations. Anand shared a photo of Sonam blowing out the candles on her birthday cake during a lavish dinner and extended his heartfelt wishes to her.
In another picture shared on his Instagram Stories, Anand captured Sonam holding their son Vayu in her arms, with the caption, “To another year of everything you want and more.” Another photo featured her with Anand’s brother, Anant Ahuja.

Earlier, Anand Ahuja shared a heartfelt note for Sonam Kapoor as well. The post featured the beautiful family of three— Anand, Sonam and Vayu. Expressing his love, Anand wrote, “Dedicated Sonam Kapoor birthday post coming but before that, a little note about this photo I’ve been wanting to post on Sonam’s birthday. Of course it shows the three of us but what’s also there, although not shown, is the rest of the “village” that is helping us raise this little one – giving him the valuable experiences, lessons, values, company, and of course fun! We are truly grateful for all the friends and family we have in our lives that create the world around us.”
He appreciated Sonam Kapoor for her sheer dedication to family and friends. He stated, “And of course my most special person in the world, Sonam Kapoor, who somehow is always the ‘glue’ in her groups, that she shows up for and people show up for her – friends from birth and also new friends in a new city. May we always have the awareness to be grateful for our blessings, keep perspective in our experiences and acknowledge all those that make us who we are.”

Sonam and Anand tied the knot on May 8, 2018, and the duo welcomed their son Vayu in 2022. On the work front, Sonam most recently appeared in the 2023 criminal thriller film Blind. She is preparing to begin filming for her next movie, Battle for Bittora, this year.
