Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday jokingly tweeted that he was planning to quit Twitter after Shah Rukh Khan dethroned him as the most followed Indian actor on Twitter. SRK, currently with 3,29,44,338 followers, has been ranked number one on the microblogging site, while Bachchan is on the number two spot with 3,29,02,353 followers.
He wrote: "T 2599 - TWITTER ..!!! you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! that's a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. .. there are many 'other' fish in the sea - and a lot more exciting. (sic)"

Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy shooting Thugs of Hindostan, which also features Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. The Yash Raj Films production is being helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who directed Katrina and Aamir in Dhoom: 3. It is an adaptation of the 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug.
