Actress Bhamaa Confirms Her Divorce, Says 'Never Knew How Strong I Was Until I Became Single Mom'

Malayalam actress Rekhitha R Kurup, also known as Bhamaa, has reportedly decided to end her marriage with businessman husband Arun Jagadish. There is no official confirmation regarding this news, but some changes in Bhamaa’s social media posts have fuelled the rumours regarding her divorce.

In one of the Instagram posts uploaded recently, Bhamaa wrote in the caption, “I never knew how strong I was, until I became a single mom and being strong was the only choice I had. Me and my Girl.” These words have almost confirmed the news of Bhamaa’s divorce from her spouse. In the photos attached along with the caption, the Raaga actress is enjoying herself with her daughter Gauri Pillai. The 35-year-old actress attached the track Sundari Kannal to the photos.

Bhamaa’s followers rooted for her in the comments section. One of them commented, “Your kid will be so proud of you when she is at an age when she knows how strong you are.” Another wished Bhamaa to stay strong and wrote that being a single mother is not an easy task. Others also wished her to stay strong and healthy.

Bhamaa has also removed the marriage and vacation pictures with the husband marking the end of their marriage. The Raaga actress now only posts pictures with her daughter while earlier she used to post her family pictures.

Following the marriage, it was rumoured that the 35-year-old actress would leave the film industry and join her husband’s business. Bhamaa even started her clothing brand. In the inauguration ceremony pictures, Arun was also absent. Actors Abu Salim, Riyaz Khan and director Nadirsha attended the ceremony.

The Nivedhyam actress had tied the knot with Arun in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony held at Kottayam. In the presence of their family, relatives, and friends, the duo took the marital vows to stay together forever. Decked in a red Kancheepuram saree, Bhamaa looked enchanting on her wedding day. Adding antique temple jewellery to her ensemble, the 35-year-old actress was a sight to behold. As per the Times of India, Bhamaa’s celebrity friends including Suresh Gopi and Vinu were present at the wedding ceremony.
