Actress Deepika Padukone, who finally seems to have taken a sigh of relief after Padmaavat's release, is someone who has always been lauded for her acting chops and stellar fashion choices. The diva, who has on several previous occassions flaunted some fabulous creations and looks, has never shied away from repeating her ensembles in public. And recently, Deepika showed no hesitation in repeating her outfits, setting an example and proving that there's no shame in repeating one's attires once in a while.
eepika sported the same Kanjeevaram saree, gifted to her by veteran actress Rekha, that she had donned at her close friend Aditya Narayan's wedding. In fact, everything was exactly the same, the jewelry and the overall look, except Deepika's messy center-parted bun and smokey eyes.
For her friend's wedding Deepika had opted for a neat bun and almost no eye-makeup.

In fact, even at the special screening of Padmaavat, Deepika stepped out -- walking hand-in-hand with beau Ranveer Singh -- sporting a white and silver Anamika Khanna ethnic ensemble. She paired her floor-length semi-sheer anarkali with palazzos and a matching dupatta. Heavy earrings, a neat low center-parted bun and minimal makeup rounded off Deepika's look.
Interestingly, this was the same outfit Deepika had worn during the film Chennai Express' promotions and landed herself in the infamous 'cleavage controversy'. A print story slamming the actress for flaunting her decolletage even off-camera had made its way to the masses back then. But, Deepika wasn't someone to take such narrow-mindedness and shallow thoughts lightly. She took to Twitter to lash out to the newspaper and wrote, “YES! I am a woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??". Soon after, the topic blew up into a full-fledged controversy and debates followed. However, social media users and public at large came out in the actress' support.
