As Alia Bhatt turns 24 on Wednesday, there is much for her to celebrate. The young and vibrant actress has in a very short period of time carved a place for herself in the industry with her choice of films, hard-work and charm.
After her debut in Student Of The Year, the B-town beauty gave several superhit performances in Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and left a mark on the viewer's mind with her excellent acting skills. But it's not just her acting that has the audiences wanting to see more of her each time, but it also has a lot to do with her effervescent style. Chic, edgy and yet classy - these are a few words that rightly define Alia's style statement.
Considered one of the youngest fashionistas in the industry, her flawless and yet so relatable style can make any teenager or a 20-something girl green with envy. And although Alia has always sported different looks over these years, we will take a look at some of the Indian wears that she donned in the past few years and how she absolutely stunned in them.
Take a look:
Alia made heads turn when she turned up in a pink saree for the Zee Cine Awards ceremony. The 24-year-old had her hair tied in a neat bun and paired her outfit with golden jhumkas for that perfect traditional touch.
The Badrinath Ki Dulhania actor donned the traditional Indian nine-yard with grace and elegance at the grand pre-wedding celebrations of Isheta Ambani — Mukesh and Anil Ambani's niece — at Antilia, the Ambani's residence. The actress opted for a Manish Malhotra silver-grey sequined saree which she teamed with a striped cutout blouse.
Alia wore her hair up, in a neat side-parted bun and completed her look with the quintessential bindi and smokey eyes.
The vivacious diva whose sexy shorts, chic dresses and sophisticated jumpsuits are a usual sight, stuns each time she turns up in Indian wear. And although Alia's appearances in ethnic wear are a rare phenomenon, but when she does go that way, she makes sure that she makes jaws drop.
In one of her appearances, Alia wore a pretty pink, self-embroidered lehenga teamed with a matching pink top with embroidered floral motifs from ace designer Manish Malhotra's collection. Her look was styled by none other than Ami Patel.
Alia looked vibrant and beautiful in a Manish Malhotra red lehenga paired with matching floral embroidered cold shoulder asymmetrical top that she wore during the trailer launch of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. She left her hair open with neat center parting and finished her look with gold tone Amrapali earrings.
Alia showed the way how to wow in a traditional outfit with a bohemian twist. Dressed in Amoh by Jade outfit with jhumkas from Amrapali Jewels, Alia finished her desi avatar with matching jutis.
