Youths find many love spots

BANGALORE: Police officials had a tough day not only manning the bandh, but even with shooing off couples off the roads and  parks, as the ‘love birds’ took advantage of deserted places. On M G Road and Brigade Road, traffic police complained that once a hidden corner was vacant, there were many couples who occupied the open spot. “We had to drive away couples who indulged in obscenity in public. Till 6 pm we drove away almost 10 couples from Anil Kumble Circle alone,” said a traffic cop on M G Road. Meanwhile, police had a tough time ensuring couples do not indulge in ‘obscene acts’ near shopping malls. They feared it could infuriate protesters.
