New Delhi: A few months after releasing dormant email IDs, Yahoo has now announced that it will auction a huge list of domain names that the company has owned for quite some time, including av.com, sandwich.com and voicemail.com. The week-long auction starts on November 14 and will run till November 21.
Yahoo has published the whole list of domain names which will be on auction. av.com is the most expensive of all available for sale with a reserve range of $1 million to $1.5 million.
"We're starting a week-long auction that includes well over a hundred premium domain names. How premium you ask? How about sandwich.com? That's a pretty awesome name, and now it's back on the market," said Kevin Kramer, Yahoo's deputy general counsel in a post on the official Yahoo blog.
