Mumbai: Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise, who is on a promotional spree for the fourth installment of the 'Mission Impossible' series in the city, today said he would love to act in Hindi films.
"I love watching Hindi movies. There are many Hindi movies that come out every year but I do watch a few of them. (If offered a Bollywood film) I would never say no. I would love to do it," the 49-year-old actor said here.
He was speaking to reporters after screening of the film 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol', which was held at IMAX in suburban Wadala this evening.
"I'm honoured and privileged to be in India. I loved being here. The atmosphere and the people here are very nice. I'm happy with the love and appreciation I'm getting from my fans over here. India is an amazing place and I would definitely love to come again," he said.
Cruise, who arrived in the country yesterday and will leave for Dubai tonight, said he felt happy when Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was signed up for the fourth installment of the 'Mission Impossible' series.
"We were happy working with him. We were happy when he came on board the movie," he said.
On the challenges of being a producer, Cruise said, "All I want to say is that I just want to tell a story, whatever may be the genre. All I try to do is make a good film that everyone likes and feels excited about. I hope my latest movie 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol' brings a smile on everyone's face."
Cruise, who was clad in a blue shirt and a pair of denims, walked on the red carpet and obliged fans by signing autographs and posing for the shutterbugs.
He was accompanied by co-actors Paula Patton and Anil Kapoor.
The film's screening was attended by Bollywood's glitterati, including celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Abbas-Mustan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Dhanush of 'Kolaveri-di' fame.
'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol' will be released in theatres across India on December 16.
