Tension gripped the area till late in the evening when a meeting between officers of the two forces resolved that steps would be taken so that such incidents do not recur.
On the punishment of the CIF jawan who allegedly teased the girl, the sources said it would be decided by CIF higher officials.
Altogether, 20 personnel of CIF had been injured during a clash between EFR and CIF jawans which followed an allegation of misbehaviour by CIF with some women at a fair at the EFR headquarters at Salua on the night of February 24.
