HYDERABAD: Vijayamma, who ended her fast on Monday evening, said she would continue the unfinished work of her son Jagan Mohan Reddy, by campaigning for YSRC candidates for June 12 byelections.Vijayamma, who broke down after the CBI court sent Jagan Mohan Reddy to Chenchalguda prison, said she would explain to people what her son has got in return for what her late husband had done for the Congress. “I am sure Jagan babu will come out unscathed,” she said, fighting tears, at her fast camp. “I am going to the people since they are the ultimate judges in a democracy. They (Congress) sent him to jail since they wanted him out of the way till the byelections are over,” she said, adding there was a responsibility on her to ensure re-election of those who had supported the no confidence motion against the Congress government. In the evening, YSRC nominee for Parkal seat Konda Surekha offered lime juice to fasting Vijayamma.Vijayamma will spend a day at Pulivendula on Tuesday and then she would begin campaigning from Narasannapeta in Srikakulam district on May 30.
