CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Dr  MGR Medical University has agreed to hold separate exams for the 150 students of DD Medical College and Hospital in Kunnavalam in Tiruvallur district on the college premises.In her counter-affidavit filed in response to a contempt application from the college,  University Registrar Dr Sudha Seshayyan submitted that in the interest of student community and to safeguard their educational career, the University had decided to conduct the practical examination for the candidates from August 22 to 28 in the venue of the petitioner’s college itself, based on the regulations of the Medical Council of India (MCI). The counter added that since a majority of the students had not appeared for the first three theory subjects - Anatomy Part I and II and Physiology Part I , the University Vice-Chancellor had instructed to conduct the said theory examinations for all the 150 students .
