Utsavabali held at Sabarimala

PATHANAMTHITTA: Utsavabali, one of the rituals held during the annual festival days from the second to the ninth day, was held at Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple on Wednesday.  Utsavabali, held for the Hill Gods of Lord Ayyappa, began at 11.30 a.m. after the uchcha pooja.  Thantri Kandararu Maheswararu, in the presence of melsanthi G Balamurali, conducted the ritual. The devotees present at sopanam were provided the facility for utsavabali darsan at 2 pm. Pushapbhishekam and padi pooja were the other special rituals held in the temple.
