London: British police have arrested a 30-year-old man in the phone hacking scandal involving the now-defunct News of the World tabloid.
Police say the man was arrested by appointment on Friday on suspicion of conspiracy to intercept voicemail messages.
More than a dozen people have been arrested amid claims the newspaper eavesdropped on the mobile phone voicemail messages of celebrities, royals, politicians and crime victims.
