TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and Endowments department will from now collaborate in conducting dharmic and spiritual programmes at the grassroot level to propagate Hindu Sanatana Dharma across the state, TTD Central Dharmic Advisory Council chairman Rambabu said.Speaking to mediapersons on Friday, he said spiritual programmes will be taken to backward areas with help of Dharma Prachara Rathams.The council has also suggested to set up a spiritual library in all district headquarters, he explained."The SVBC channel will also telecast social welfare activities being taken up by mutts and spiritual institutions across the state," said Rambabu.The TTD executive officer LV Subramanyam said, "We have been telecasting live programmes for 7 hours in a day on the SV Bhakthi channel and getting good response. Now, we will introduce some programmes which will have social interface," he said.Four more book stalls would be opened at Tirumala and we are also planning to publish 77 pocket books on importance of Hindu festivals, spiritual personalities during Vedic Period and give them as Pustaka Prasada to devotees, Subramanyam said.The Hindu Dharma Parirakshana Trust chairman Veerabhadraiah said since formation of the trust, several spiritual programmes have been taken up on a large scale across the country.Other members of the council P Venkateswara Rao, Suryanarayana Reddy, Bhaskara Rao, Kantharao, Harivittalrao, Sudhakar Reddy, Rudrarajukavi, Murthy, Srinivasarao Kasbe and Nagabhushanam were also present.
