KOCHI: Teachers have been given training to take care of Parliamentary literacy club formed to educate children on the parliamentary system of the nation. The training is being conducted by the Institute of Parliamentary Affairs of the state government with the support of the Education Department. The services of the MLAs of the respective consituencies will also be availed. These clubs will be operated for the students from LP section to college level. In the first phase, the project will be extended to 300 colleges across the state. The state has been categorised under three regions to provide training for teachers. Training has been completed in the Thiruvananthapuram region and Ernakulam region. Training in the Kozhikode region will be conducted on Wednesday.
