TNCC chief calls on MK

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President BS  Gnanadesikan on Sunday called on DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence. This is the first meeting of the leaders of both the parties, after the DMK ditched the Congress on the civic poll eve. Also, Gnanadesikan called on Karunanidhi for the first time after taking over as Congress chief. Gnanadesikan told reporters it was a “courtesy call,” and added that he discussed the political scenario in TN.
