BANGALORE: The Coimbatore Police has sought the custody of People’s Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasser Madani in connection with bombs found in the Coimbatore Press Club.The police officials visited the Parappana Agrahara Jail, where Madani is in judicial custody, on Friday. However, Madani’s advocate in the special court filed objections over handing him over to the Tamil Nadu police, citing medical reasons. The court asked Madani to file objection only after it receives body warrant from the Coimbatore Court. Sources said the Coimbatore Police will obtain body warrant from local court and submit it soon.
