The police on Sunday recovered three unidentified dead bodies in Bihar's Katihar district. While bodies of a man and a woman were recovered from Sahpur village under Rataura police station of the district, body of another man was found on railway tracks at Azamnagar under Barsoi police station.
Police said the dead bodies were in a highly decomposed state and belonged to persons in the age group of
30 to 40 years.
"We suspect the persons were killed somewhere else and their bodies were thrown at the places from where we recovered them. We are trying to identify the deceased. The woman seems to be around 30 and married," Katihar Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rakesh Kumar said.
Police has lodged FIR and is taking help of forensic scientists to investigate the matter. The dead bodies have been sent for post mortem.
