Terrorists kills three Hindus in J&K
Three members of a Hindu family, including two children, were shot dead by terrorists in Udhampur on Friday.

Jammu: Three members of a Hindu family, including two children, were shot dead by terrorists in Udhampur district on Friday.

A group of suspected LeT terrorists entered into the house of one Ram Singh in Ara village of Gool tehsil in the wee hours of Friday and enquired about him, official sources said.

Singh, who had been receiving threats from terrorists, had taken shelter for the night in a nearby Special Task Force camp of J&K Police and only his wife and two children were present in the isolated house, on the outskirts of the village.

The militants severely beat up Singh's wife and the two children before shooting them dead. All the three died on the spot.

The terrorists later escaped, they said. After hearing gun shots, jawans from the STF camp rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

The deceased were Singh's 35-year-old wife Chitra Devi, son Neelam (6) and daughter Meena (4).

A massive search opearation has been launched to track down the terrorists responsible for the heinous killing, the sources added.
