KOCHI: The district administration is all set for the smooth conduct of SSLC and Plus-Two examinations which will commence on Monday.“The treasuries have been asked to release the question papers after 9 am to the respective district education officers (DEO).The vehicles are ready and each will be accompanied by the police,” said District Collector Sheik Pareeth.The Plus-Two examinations will begin at 10 am followed by a 15-minute cool-off time.Students from 175 schools in the district will be appearing for the schools in 170 centres and will take English on Monday.Invigilation will be done by 2305 teachers.All other measures have been taken.The registration number, bar-coded answer papers in science for double valuation have been distributed,” said assistant coordinator, Higher Secondary Education.The exams will get over on March 26.“The SSLC exams will commence at 1.30 pm and will end at 3 pm or 4 pm depending on the duration of the paper.Monday’s examination, Malayalam, will end at 3 pm.Cluster of schools have been formed with seven to eight schools in each cluster for the smooth conduct of the examinations.The examinations will conclude on March 26, “ said deputy director of education, M D Murali.A total of 39, 518 students are appearing for the SSLC examinations in 307 centres across the district - 39240 regular and 278 private candidates.“We are doing the last minute revision and are slightly tensed though we are quite good in Malayalam.Our teachers guided us with model exams and revisions.Moreover, the the model questions in ‘Orukkam’ brought by the SCERT has been really useful,” said a few students from different part of the district.Three thousand teachers from across the district are gearing up for examinations in 307 centres across the district
