According to sources, the speaker invited TDP MLA Gampa Govardhan on November 15. As many as 81 MLAs submitted their resignations for the Telangana cause and in protest against the inclusion of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's name in the FIR filed by the CBI in Jagan's illegal assets case. The speaker had already accepted the resignations of Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy and Nagam Janardhan Reddy. He is likely to complete formalities with regard to resignation of other MLAs before the winter session of Assembly, which is scheduled to commence in the first week of December.

All the 32 TDP MLAs, who quit their posts for the cause of separate Telangana, are waiting for the speaker's invitation. "If the speaker invites us to discuss about our resignations, we will go to him and explain our stand," a T TDP MLA said.

"Let the speaker invite us, we will explain our stand," said TTDF convener E Dayakar Rao.
