Mumbai: Kavita Karkare, widow of former Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) chief Hemant Karkare who died fighting terrorists during the 26/11 attacks passed away on Monday following brain haemorrhage.
She was in coma and was declared brain dead. Survived by three children, she breathed her last in Mumbai's Hinduja hospital.
