Officials said a squad of forces led by paramilitary Central Reserve Ppolice Force (CRPF) apprehended the area commander of CPI (Maoist) Chokro Chaki (27) from Sonua police station area of the district.
A pistol, three rounds of ammunition and a mobile phone were also recovered from Chaki, they said, adding he has been handed over to the local police.
