Revenue official arrested for taking bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths on Tuesday arrested a revenue official for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 in Rajsamand district, an ACB official said.

Lal Singh, posted as Patwari at Devgarh tehsil, had demanded the bribe from Chunni Lal Khateek for transferring a land in revenue records, he said here.

After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid and the accused was arrested while taking the bribe, he said.
