Revenue Collector fired

BANGALORE: The Standing Committee on Administration, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), conducted an inspection of the BBMP office at Bommanahalli and found that the office was badly maintained. Also, employees were frequently on leave.
Chairman of the committee H R Krishnappa, headed the team that conducted the inspection. During the inspection it was found that, of Bommanahalli Revenue Collector Manjunath had appointed someone else to work and paid him `25 per tax receipt. They also found important documents like revenue receipts, voter forms and other financial documents lying around the office. He was suspended immediately
