HYDERABAD: TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy wanted YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to recall his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s statement in the state Assembly on freedom of press. At a press conference here on Thursday, Revanth Reddy released the CDs of Rajasekhara Reddy’s speech on press freedom in the Assembly.He said when Margadarsi issue came up for discussion in the Assembly, the then chief minister Rajasekhara Reddy said irregularities were different from freedom of press.Recalling YSR’s remarks, Revanth Reddy asked the Kadapa MP to remember his father’s words. He also advised the agitating journalists also to note the same.If Sakshi staff were facing problems regarding payment of salaries or any other issue, they should fight against the management and not the government, Revanth Reddy added. He felt that the state government should have brought an ordinance to seize the properties of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
